Sand Gazelle

Sand Gazelles are the second largest of the antelopes species living in the United Arab Emirates. Almost extinct in the wild, there are occasional sightings in Liwa of small groups of these beautiful creatures. Their elegantly curved horns are considerably longer than those of other gazelles seen in the area. 

The sand gazelle is the only antelope in this part of region that regularly gives birth to twins, usually during spring and autumn.
