Arabian Hare - Al Arnab Al Arabi

Arabian Hares are much smaller than their European counterparts. Unlike rabbits, they do not live in burrows, instead they spend their daytime motionless, with ears folded back, relying totally on their camouflage, keeping within the shallow scrapes of bushes.
Born fully furred with eyes open, Arabian Hares are able to survive without their mother from the seventh to the tenth day of their lives.
Amazingly, Hares do not need to drink water; often obtaining enough moisture from the grasses and shrubs it eats to sustain their sedentary existence.
